JoL: I'm throwing an election party. Do you want to come?
Anzu: Sure. When is it?
(JoL and Sage are in stitches next to me.)
Sage: election party. (To JoL) Don't invite her. She doesn't get it.
. . .
Anzu: I have a class, but depending on the time, maybe I can make it. We should have a post-election party to celebrate McCain's victory.
(Again, they burst into laughter.)
Sage: Uh, I think that's the point of the election party.

I initially had this ambitious idea that I would blog about my interests, which are food, music, travel and foreign policy, to name a few, but most likely, it will be much more modest in scope--probably just random silly thoughts.
